The Pre Professional Company at Light of life is for serious dancers who want to pour themselves into dancing and most often who are considering pursuing dance in their future.

There are four divisions in our company.  Passing from Company Trainee to Senior company is based upon the student's technique, skill, experience and commitment.

Company trainee

Through invitation or Auditions, students are given entrance as a company Trainee, generally around level 4.  Being a company Trainee includes an extra technique class every saturday as well as extra saturday rehearsals during performance season.  As a company trainee, the dancer should understand that they are being tested and trained to eventually progress into company.  Dancers in our training program will get the exciting opportunity to attend and perform at various dance festivals and outreaches.

Junior Company

Being promoted to Junior Company means you are officially a company member.  As a company member you will spend longer hours in class and in rehearsal.   While more is required at this level, there are many benefits like increased performance roles, guest teachers, more performing and traveling opportunities to dance festivals and outreaches.  

Junior Trainee

Junior Trainee is the next phase of our company training program.  Dancers are moved to Junior Trainee as they continue to grow in their technique and dedication.  While it is not unusual to remain a company trainee for more then one year, many students will most likely be moved up to Junior Trainee their second or third season in company.  Dancers in our training program will get the exciting opportunity to attend and perform at various dance festivals and outreaches.

Senior Company

Being a Senior Company Member means you have acquired the necessary technique, skill and maturity to represent LOLPA at the highest level.  Dancers in Senior Company are given the most responsibility but also the priveledge of main performance roles, guest teachers, more performing and traveling opportunities to dance festivals and outreaches.
